Painting rocks is a great outdoor craft idea and can be enjoyed by all ages!  I had a lot of fun writing this tutorial for Kit Kraft.  My daughter and her friends had a lot of fun helping me out!

And of course, it brought out the kid in me, too!  I had a lot of fun just thinking up all the different designs and ways to paint rocks.  I especially enjoyed painting my rocks to look like cacti and arranging them in a planter.  I am not so talented in the gardening department and since moving to Arizona, it is especially difficult keeping green things alive!  So this made for a lovely alternative!
